Answer by aaron p
No, I’ve never heard of the site, you need to work seriously on your google ranking, and being so blatantly self-aggrandizing won’t score you points on this forum.

Other than that, good luck.

Question by kygirlflgirl: I would GREATLY appreciate advice regarding life insurance & a stubborn husband?
I would REALLY appreciate anyone w/ life insurance (or stubborn husband) experience!!!
I am 38 and my husband is 49. My husband is the sole income provider of our family.
Since our first child’s birth, I have tried to discuss with him the importance of planning for our deaths. Our oldest son is 15, and he still refuses to have a Will drawn up. Also, he refuses to purchase term life insurance on us both in the proper amount according to our famincome.
He is normally a very thoughtful and extremely responsible person. I know his lack of planning is due to his inability to deal with his own mortality.
I have continued to express concerns re: our lack of planning for 15 years! I have approached it from every angle I can think of.
On my own, I have contacted insurers to get coverage for us both & pay from my own “rainy day fund”. No one will write a life policy in any amount without 1st performing a physical.
How do I protect my family in this situation?

Best answer:

Answer by newjerseyguy
I don’t have an answer, but you are right to be concerned. Unfortunately, some people just refuse to deal with any matters concerning their possible death. Your husband is being irresponsible in his obligations to his family. I hope you can make him “see the light.” Is there a trusted relative/friend or pastor that could talk to him?

Question by anna!: life insurance?
my husband and i have been talking about trying for our second child in the next year and i have a question. we are only 21 and make about $ 60,000/yr.
im wondering about life insurance. i am a stay at home mom and my husband and i both think that its best that i stay home with the son that we have now(and any future children) as opposed to daycare. i want to be more responsible as we progress and make the big step of having another child. we live comfortably but dont have any money put back, as we just bought our first house and that took up alot of our savings(we didnt have too much to begin with).
i want to take out a term life insurance policy that will allow me to recieve a sum of at least $ 150,000 were anything to happen to my husband. i just want it for about 7-9 years. how do i go about doing this? what should something like this cost my husband and i per month?

Best answer:

Answer by aaron p
Assuming he’s in decent health, it’ll be dirt cheap – around $ 20 a month or less. I would really encourage you to look at a higher amount of coverage because $ 150000 would last you a little more than two years. $ 750000 managed at 8% would generate $ 60000. That would be the ballpark I’d start in, but ask around for other ideas.

Also consider insuring his income against being sick or hurt. Disabilities are much more likely prior to age 65 than death.

Question by Lifesucks2333: How can I become an independent insurance agent for car and life insurance?

Best answer:

Answer by es
You will have to meet with different general brokers and become licensed to sell their products. You will need a separate license for each line. You will need a computer and load the software to be able to quote. Or, you can go to work for an independent broker and use his resources. Good luck to you. If you are really interested in doing this, call some of the large independent brokers in your area and ask for an interview. They are always looking for producers.

Question by : What should I do with all this life insurance money?
I got a bunch of life insurance money recently. Do you compare interest rates on debts directly with those of investments, or is it best to pay debts off first and then invest? Basically, would it be better to put it towards my mortgage which is 5.25% interest, or try to invest it some other way.

Best answer:

Answer by Ron Paul 2012!
What I would do is I would invest it in hard assets such as physical silver, food and water storage, and ammunition because I believe we are headed for hyperinflation. I would hold on to my debt as long as possible because even with the interest rates, if we go into hyperinflation, you will pay back more money but the dollar will be worth a lot less so it would be easier to pay back and you would’ve had a chance to invest your money.

EDIT: I would advise you to avoid all paper investments as it is not worth more than the paper it’s written on. $ 1 back in 1913 will NOT buy you the same thing as it does today but 1oz of gold or silver in 1913 will by you the same thing it could back then or very close to it.
